Is is Russian peacekeepers who are defending Armenians in Karabakh, not Armenian peacekeepers. Again - for what sake Russian soldiers should die for the lands that even Armenia never recognized as part of its territory or at least as sovereign nation?

"West" is not some abstract principle, this concept has specific institutional manifestations. If a country is part of NATO - it is apriori Western and anti-Russian because destroying of Russia is the only goal of NATO existence.

Yup and it's that mentality that pushes Russia further away from the rest of the Orthodox countries.
"why should we die for you,why should we get involved there for that". But you are a superpower and you are the strongest Orthodox nation. It's like Putin shattered the image of Russia as a protector of Christianity when the world saw images of Azeris in Armenian churches and ancient Christian lands captured.

We should speak about Orthodox Church only after Patriarch of Constantinople stop his divide and rule policy towards Russian Orthodox Church. How can we protect Orthodoxy if the head of this religion by direct order of Anti-Christian USA divided Russian Orthodox Church? It is surrealism.

I can't say I agree with the whole Ukrainian Church issue,it was just fine staying under the Russian Patriarchate,but then,it does seem as if the Patriarchate of Moscow has been trying to get "primacy",if we can use that word and "replace" the Patriarchate of Constantinople. And it's ironic that Russians were upset about Ukraine's autocephaly,when they themselves had declared Moscow's autocephaly in 1589.

Again I am not saying it's something good,but it's a bit ironic isn't it?

Turkey controls Germany and Russia is dependent on Turkey and Germany for her pipelines. Russia is not in a position to support any European country opposing Germany and/or Turkey. The only nation that can protect France, Greece, Cyprus, Armenia is the US but they too are wary to fight Turkey militarily and Germany economically. So France, Greece, Cyprus, Armenia will lose this war against Turkey.

It is rather ironic that Patriarchate of Constantinople in its time declared Unia with Western Church by direct Western order - just to stay in power for some years more. Now they divided Russian Church by the same order with the same goal.
And I will not be surprised the same Patriarchate will declare Unia again. And this will not be ironic, nor even sarrcastic - it will be sardonic, pure madness.

You guys are really funny. Wake up and smell the coffee. Orthodox Church no longer exists. You should reconcile to the fact that you have lost Constantinople to Islam. Just create Church of Moscow and Church of Kiev and be done with this cat fight.

Not with Poroshenko, much earlier, with USSR collapse. But previous Patriarchs were capable to resist US orders and not divide the only remaining powerful Orthodox and even Christian as a whole church.

The City fell,but the Ecumenical Patriarchate continued to exist,just like the faith.

Just create Church of Moscow and Church of Kiev and be done with this cat fight.

There is the Patriarchate of Moscow,that declared Autocephaly from the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Russians are now angry because the Ukrainians declared Autocephaly from their Patriarchate.
