Btw, in my place restaurants also sell pork biriyani, pork afghani kebab and pork mughlai recipes in order to woo prospective diners who wouldn't otherwise sample them.
Not too different with our version but some use normal rice. All of Indonesian believe this cuisine comes from Arab and even an Arab Indonesian in my neighborhood sell this cuisine.

The meat is not cooked but boiled, and rice isnt sour but rather sweet due to almonds, pistachios, drapes and carrots.

This dish actually belongs to KPK and southern Afghanistan.Maybe South Asian immigration who bring it to Indonesia but in here that cuisine are usually served in many Arab food restaurant in Indonesia.
