About CS9
With the end of Coke Studio 9 today, I thought it would be a great idea to share some of the latest seasons super hits. We were introduced to some new names such as Momina Mustehsan, we had a tribute to a Sufi legend that left us this year (May Amjad Sabri's soul rest in peace) and we had one of the best seasons ever!

Noori was the highlight of this season. Specially their gem 'Paar Channa De' with Shilpa Rao was beyond this world. Pakistani music knows no bounds, completely unparalleled. :pakistan:

For me song selection was very poor with the exception of Afreen Afreen and one or two more. Initial seasons were a success because Roahail always went for songs which were already hit, but now in order to diversify things every one is coming up with all sorts of songs, most of which have failed to strike a chord with masses. This season this Shani guy made the worst songs even when he was privileged enough to work with Rahat and Sabri, he still failed to impress. Coke Studio should focus more on song selection rather than music directors and singers.

CS really is a trend setter for the entire world...
