The neighbors of Indian cricket team captain Dhoni have complained to the authorities that there is great scarcity of water in India but Dhoni is wasting 15000 litres of water every day on his swimming pool maintenance.

Dhoni’s neighbors got the chance to complain against the Indian cricket captain saying that on one side we have many states in India facing extreme water shortage but on the other end we find the cricket team captain wasting 15000 litres of water every day in his farm house located in Ranchi in the state of Jharkhand.

Dhoni’s neighbors approached the state revenue minister and launched a complain in the open court stating that the poor people are suffering due to lack of water while Dhoni’s swimming pool wastes thousands of litres every day.

Dhoni’s neighbors have requested the government to take action against the Indian captain.

Wow. What a great news reporting. First of all, source? Second the first three paragraphs just repeat the same point. Seems like someone was trying to fill space in their school assignment. Third, Dhoni and family are probably busy with IPL then why would anyone even refresh the water daily when no one is visiting that place?

Well, being celebrity has down side too. They are supposed to lead by example. In the times of crises people validate each and every action of these celebrities (whether thats justifiable or not, is another debate) specially where there is a severe drought in many part of India. I believe this will highlight the misuse done by many other rich people too who may not be celebrities but have luxurious life.
But if this water is recycled by him and he has put extra investment in doing that, then these people have no right to oppose him as he has already taken care of this by no utilizing the fresh water every day from municipality.

There can be no pool without a filtration plant , why would he use so much water everyday ?

Surely hotels in Ranchi too have swimming pools , he is being singled out for publicity value.
