aighty, i had no clue, but - its just his tone of pointing it to me, i just asked it , because there were too many joke about it , i never understood why. so always missed the humor.

but if thats the case - why indian make joke about this issue?

Well it started with the mughal army which started making fun of it and then it spread. Almost every Indian or to be particular a hindu who makes fun of it has no idea what he is doing. And the irony is which makes me more proud of Sikhs is very few Sikhs actually object on the face though how bad they may feel, and take it lightly in the same tone.

The day i heard the real story behind i stopped all those nonsense sardar jokes BS.

well the trivia is we also call sugar as cheeni. so when i was a kid i always thought all sugar comes from China so it is called cheeni in hindi.

no, both are exact sam,e same case with our language urdu

Nopes no diffrence.

actually when we write hindi it is not like english. It is as it is spoken like when we write cheen we will write cha add a eeeeeeeeee to it so it becomes chee and then write "na" so it becomes cheen
