see... i always use the term... terrorist/ freedom fighter... cuz it depends on which side you are on... like to you Kashmiri with gun against government = freedom fighter.. Balochi with gun against government = terrorist... to ehhmm Bharatis (since u only know this term)... its opposite... to me..... they are alllllll freedomm fightersss!!!! all the power to the Kashmiris.. Balochis.. Punjabis.. and whoever else wants to decide their own destiny!!

ehh sure why not as long as you develop some guts to call Maoists, Naxals, Nagas, Bodos, (you count the others my fingers are tiered so many freedom movements in India) as freedom fighters

I call myself Australian and I wasn't even born here.

My only point to keep in mind when reading forum posts is people's biases. There's nothing wrong with bias, as long as everyone is up front about it.

The reason this is a touchy subject around here is that there have been many posters hiding their ethnicity/nationality and pretending to be neutral observers. That's just dishonest, that's all.

I think Developereo is mixing up Purdah which is said to be introduced in India by invaders with Sati.

But then again, there is no dearth of nutjobs in India.

He was referring to Purdah not Sati. That was the entire point of his post
