JonAsad I have a query. I know the literal meaning of Muhajir. But is it considered a bad term in Pakistan for the people who migrated or people dont mind it? I am not sure about this.... can you please clarify

The word Muhajir's itslef is mostly used with bad intentions here as a slur, as to refer to them as outsiders, naturally the ones who have migrated from india, leaving all there belongings etc there, will mind that.
They are as much Pakistani's as we are.
Altaf Hussein took that difference exploited it and started his own personal political agenda.


What my Pakistani brothers dont understand is this " Our Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a muhajir himself, when migrated from Makkah to Madinah, and local people of Madinah reffered as "Insaar" welcomed the Muhajirs with open arms, whole heartedly"

These are the true Islamic examples we should follow.
Unfortunately we Pakistani's the so called flag barriers of Islam mostly follow Mullah version.

yaa i knew the second part. More like the word Kafir which is technically nothing abusive and simply means a non beliver but today many consider it abusive. Sometimes its the context where words are being used....
