I agree with the above part though.......in-fact, that's the only thing I like about the commies, they do not over-admire the West and are wary of them.....He also cautioned the Centre of not trying to get swayed by the US while deciding its policy on China.
"The US wants all its friendly countries to a play a role in containing China whom it doesn't want to see as emerging as a global player after the fall of the Soviet Union. The only economic and strategic power that can come close to US is China, its containment is a part of US strategy and India should not be part of it," Yechury said.
India must not let itself get played by US or the West.....it must look into its own and only its own interest while making foreign policies.....
We must have faith in our own capabilities, whatever problem we have with China, we can deal with it ourselves, the West/US need not 'help' us.......look at how they 'helped' Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan etc. 'solve' their problems......if we trust them in solving our problems, we will make a huge mistake......
