You have alot of guess and assumputions there, but still Xi's anti-corruption war is much appreicated in China, it will prevent the corruption in China from being completely out-of-control like the wild west US where "lobbying" and "donation" are completely legal and every rich men can send their son/daughters to any ivory schools without much academic merits, and senators works like the servants of their donators etc.
