Counter-thoughts! How Bharat can help stabilize Afghanistan

You are quite conveniently forgetting the ceato sento and what not you signed to get f86 sabres, t37 tweets etc, when India was still buying it's hardware primarily from britain and france. Untill Indo-Chinese war, I don't think you had a single bullet coming from them. but then enemy of an enemy formula was used by both you remarkably well.

But then again India's primary focus would be developing a limited industrial base in Afghanistan catering to the limited mass. The tribes allying with pakistan is not based on political ideology but in kinship which is mostly pashtun demographic, last time Pakistan pushed this advantage and propped up one of the most heinous and draconian regime in the history of mankind, so a repeat of the same would barely yield different results. Tribal outlook hasn't counted for national policies of afghanistan , look into Saur revolution.

America accepts role of Taliban after bombing Taliban out of kingdom kom, pursuing them in pakistan and going to extent of violating it's allies sovereignty to bomb them, it's called diplomacy... If mullah Omar props his head out of his tent tonight, there will be a hell-fire with his name on it, rest assured. That's what american policy is. when you are so attentive to american think tanks on India, then why the selective reading, please pay attention to state dept, US generals and ISAF generals on Pakistan's role too, why ignore that part of it?

dear sir, the ones before weren't answers and neither are these.

1. Stability in you definition which brought peace inside pakistan came at cost of hazara and tajik genocide. It came at the cost of one of the worst draconian rules that the modern world has witnessed. - all this came with pakistani collusion. To me that is not stability. I won't wish such stability even upon my worst enemy.

2. That is great answer. Then please explain why would you unleash hordes of talib-e-ilm cannon fodder from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami from Darul Uloom Haqqania on the afghans, I doubt they did anything to you to deserve that?

3. That is quite contrary to what your government and most prominent members here says.... they want a Pro- pakistan government, not a stable one, which even in the past by your own definition of stability meant a monstrous regime like that of taliban.

So you in all you say you want a stable afghanistan.... taliban according to you brought stability... you wish such stability onto afghans but god forbid not your own country... looks like stability for afghans and pakistan have distinctively different meaning and definitely different delivery modes.

I would also repeat my previous question again as I am a novice on the topic.
"Between the choices PDPA Parcham led by Burhanuddin Rabbani /Dr Najibullah's government and the Mullah omar's taliban, on what merit did pakistan make it's choice.?"
1.U r contradicting ur statements. First u suggest that Pakistan should leave Afghanistan on its own and now u r objecting when Afghani taliban fought and got superiority in their own country. Please keep in ur mind that Pakistan supported Taliban when they were strong enough to fight all factions together. Pakistan supported Taliban because they were powerful, had locals support, had support from Arab countries and their policies were peaceful towards Pakistan.
I believe u r accusing Pakistan policy that due to it there was genocide in Afghanistan? Well I believe we have nothing to do killings and neither we supported killing. Though in my personal believe we should give priority to our country first as all super powers do today...
2. Maddressah were private entities which are now put under govt check and balance. Here students from all world came for religious studies.
3. Throughout the history of Afghanistan we never had any action or deed against any Afghan govt. BUT once a govt is formed in Afghanistan we never plan anything against it. Please read history of Af-Pak relationS since start. For ur answer best option is stable and pro Pak govt.

Pakistan has been meddling in Afghanistan since 1980. It is hard to quit meddling.

Why is the Taliban exactly powerful ? IMO they are poodles for the ISI.

Pakistan entered cold war so as to protect itself from USSR aggression and her plan against Pakistan to access warm waters. And btw If u call this meddling then India has meddled in issues of Pakistan in 1948 in Kashmir, 1971 in Bangladesh and while doing operations in Srilanka. US has meddled in tens of countries throughout her history? KSA attacked Yemen with same 'meddling'??
Im surprised to see that our fellow Indian are really touched when there is any Af-Pak issue, but they do not speak about several other aggression going on in the world including themselves. Is India doing anything constructive in Afghanistan which dont have 'anti-Pakistan' prospect? All u speak about Chahbahar port because u think it may harm Gwadar port....Well you should keep in ur mind that peaceful Afghanistan means peaceful Pakistan. And I assure u that any problem in Pakistan can and will spread to India because of nearly same geography and mindset.

.
Pakistan joined US camp due to Indian aggression since independence thus for its own protection.

This is really hilarious. Pakistan Attacked India just after independence and you are saying that Pakistan Joined US for own protection.

Care to mention when and where they attacked? Also with 'what' weaponry it attacked? Bcz India was too mean to give Pakistan bound weapons/equipment after partition!!

I have no problem with the Pakistan meddling in Afghanistan. You reap what you sow. Don't complain that Americans abandoned you after the Soviets pulled out. Do not give me any crap about the Taliban being powerful. they are fulled funded and fully equipped arm of the ISI.

India has contributed hundreds of millions of dollars in economic development projects in Afghanistan
Chahbahar is a potential alternative route to Afghanistan and Central Asia if Pakistanis decide they are the center of the universe

Wrong history bhai jaan

Very wrong.

Pakistan never questioned international border with Bharat

Never.

Kashmir on the other hand was NOT Bharat at that time. It was a forking princely state just like Hyderabad and countless others.

So please no need to spread lies just because they were taught when you were in elementary school.

Thank you

Whole India was made of Princely state. Kashmir king integrated it with India
So you agree that Pakistan attacked India? If yes than the reason you give to ally with US is not valid.

.
Both countries should help afghanistan in building the infrastructure required for trade with CAR. But alas, bhai u have heard the story of two cats, one bandar and one roti. That is what is going to happen

Wah bhai jaan

Wah

Very good example.

Who do you identify as Pro-Pakistani elements?

Majority of those who live close to Pakistani border.

Whole India was made of Princely state. Kashmir king integrated it with India

Again!

Bhai Jaan

Please read and learn your history, our history.

you are showing huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeee ignorance.

Perhaps it is horrible to see tht whole generation of Bharatis have been raised with utter lack of knowledge about the region.
Perhaps it shows from so many posts here too.

(same can be said about Pakistani youth too).

Oh bhai Jaan

"India" or Bharat back in 1947 was formed by puting together by combining "provinces" of British-India
Pakistan too was formed by putting together by combining "provinces" of British-India

Princely states were not part of either Bharat nor Pakistan. They were to decide which of the new states they would go with.

But in 1947 princely states were neither Bharati nor Pakistani.

Please learn, please study.
please please please.

U listed two points. First u produced ur self bcz I did not mention it. Second, read history how Mullah Umer made group named 'Taliban' and started taking cities under control. Plz enlist if u see any proof of Pakistan 'creating' taliban. If not it is better to read the post properly and then write replies

Only that NO OTHER COUNTRY did.
Which other country Afghanistan strongly relies on? Afghanistan neighbor always have problems with them. Pakistan always try to maintain peaceful and productive relation with Afghans irrespective of whoever is in govt.

.
Yes you are 100% correct , Indians need to learn geo politics from Pakistan.
From the country which became Non-Nato ally with US in cold war and then got slapped by sanctions by the same.
Fought communism in Afghanistan and then became strategic partner with a communist China,
Built the Taliban, first country to recognize and promote them and then aided United state in war against the same taliban.
Became a non-nato partner on war on terror with United states and then got bombed for about 7 years by the it's top ally,

you are indeed right, these Indian don't anything about Geopolitics, we would thankfully stay away from such brilliant geo political outlook

.
lol that depend how u look at things, the international community would like to disagree with u. Yr talking abt a country responsible of slaying two superpowers, Yr talking about a country who build nuclear weapons under the nose of them, yr talking about a country who is pain in yr *** since yr existence, Yr talking about a country who has successfully balanced its relations b/w the same two superpowers that we had slayed so much so that both r not just selling us weapons today but r investing in our economy. Yr talking about a country which u tried yr best to isolate but end up being isolated yrself today because of our geographic location. Yr now so much desperate that u ask others to give u access to CARs and ask Afghans to beg us for trade routes.

Thats what its called power, yr talking about a country who sets the regional and international dynamics..

Yr post proves nothing but versified my post about yr people, leave the geopolitics aside, its beyond yr comprehension skills.
