Correcting Indian Cinema so it may hate less

One biggest benefit of BANNING Indian Bollywood movies in Pakistan is, Pakistan Cinema industry which is now in big boom, and revival gear, will be able to project itself more effectively.

Frankly speaking nobody wants go watch the hate movies and popular stars like Shahrukh and Salman never make such movies because they know it too. Its only people like Saif, who are trying so hard to be popular but only thing he's ever been in news for is his marriage.

If Pakistan make such movie, it will be banned in India too and rightly so. Bans are free publicity for them, they actually want to have them banned by whoever its targetting.

I hope India bans Pakistani artists, just as it banned Pakistani movie WAAR and Bin Roye...Pakistani artists and actors who are much better should contribute towards Pak Cinema...its a blessing in disguise.

Banning Indian movies in Pakistan....will put a stop to billions of Pakistani Money being taken outwards into Indian pockets....instead watch pirated DVDs, for entertainment purposes.

on second thought Ban all media and art content from India.
Why jump to extreme do you not have moderate thinking capabilities?

If a country wants to ban something it is their rights why must you be judgmental and jump to extreme poles? Its not even sarcastically funny :tsk:

your civil society terms us a "Nazariyaati Dushmann" and cause of rampant cultural invasion in the land of the pure , why do you even let any of our movies screen in you theaters?
@Horus
Because we do not practice a closed door policy...We are on the world map and there to live but it doesnt mean one can just simply bully us!

I have maintained this view for quite a while, I am not jumping to anything.

You are an extremist? :o:

On contrary, I believe the democratic government of Pakistan should respect the views of the people, irrespective of the "Phantom" or "Bajrangi bhaijaan", Indian movies are causing a cultural invasion on Pakistan, and polluting pakistani minds.

So when a member here want's to dictate to indians on how to make movies, I say ban it all together...

 really? how?

What about Waar being banned in india? How much did you scream out against that? :pop:

Very extremist still to say :agree:

Psychologically speaking it shows an extreme personality!

I am not saying that, your people are.... just google it, bunch of your senior "sahafi's" have dedicated hour long debates on nazaryati dushmann... I am just saying your govt should do what the people want.

If it was up to me, I would have zero censor ship in India, but that's my personal opinion... To me no one can decide for the artist what his boundaries are. but that's just me. So banning any movie in India is ridiculous to me.

Pakistan has an excellent opportunity to kill anti-Pakistani germs in Indian cinema industry without spending a dime. Cinema is mass-media with ability to poison or correct people's perceptions on mass scale and within a short period of time. Thankfully, Phantom has flopped and rejected by Indian audience but a successful movie would have poisoned brains easily.

To correct and prevent negativity in Indian media, Pakistan can do following;
  • Black-list entire cast and crew of anti-Pakistan movies, including artists and technical leads. If any of them is part of a future Indian movie, it should be banned from screening in Pakistan.
  • Good Indian movies hoping to be screened in Pakistan movies must give a written declaration that none of the black listed cast was part of their movie and they also condemn anti-Pakistan movies.
  • Pakistan should give 50% tax leverage to non-hostile Indian movies for the next 3 years.
  • Should form a group of leading actors on both sides of the border and let them advocate positivity in media across the border. Actors like Naseer-ud-Din Shah and Nana Patikar would be good candidates.
Happy to hear your opinion and suggestions to improve that.

All this is good if the primary audience are in Pakistan........ But that is not the case, and It is not only released in Pakistan but also in other countries.......

I think banning a movie is not a big deal....... For me...

1) It gives opportunity to those prime time talk shows to discuss,
2) It gives those column writers a new subject to write
3) It Gives we PDF trolls opportunity to open several threads from different sources and troll each other
4) It Gives pirate industry a boost to make more CD's and sell in black market in Pakistan
5) It gives the Producer of the movie a free promotion in domestic audience.

So the guy who gained out of it is the "Producer' and more money for him.....

1st Pakistan is majorly Hanafi

2ndly I have no idea what Nazaryati Dushman is

3rdly, very few people in the country listen to these people....In fact ONLY in villages will you find devote followers others are moderate to liberal as you see on PDF...

So not sure how that is equated to what people want

Sure for one who has never step foot in Pakistan giving such "unenlightened advice" is expected.

Good to know...Kindly take your julus jalsa on the streets of india about Waar ONCE that is done then you May have an opinion about the neighbour till then....figure out how to unban Waar within your boundaries :enjoy:

Better would be to ban all Indian movies from Pakistan...on second thought Ban all media and art content from India.

I second that. Pakistan should learn a lesson or two from India and ban Indians movies in Pakistani cinemas, just like Indians do to our movies.

Good idea, Pakistan can do without blind hatred propagated by India.

If the movie was received well in India, you might had a ground to claim above points but Indians too found it absurd and rejected it.. and this a good time for Pakistan to step ahead and penalize such mindless freaks who sell hatred for stuffing their banks.

If Movie could serve some purpose, it would either serve to people who want Indians to hate Pakistan or to people who know how to fool people to be rich.. and none of them are in Indian National Interest. This movie is not an opinion but a provocation and needs to be handled with firm hands.. if India is not doing it.. we shouldn't spare them. If India thinks Hafiz Saeed could be attacked for doing it to India, the producer and the cast can also be brought to courts for spreading hatred without base. With this view, the movie is a case against itself.

My point was not specific to Phantom ( i have no idea what that movie is, or how good or bad it is)
You know what No one takes these movies seriously...... The moment you step out of theatre of your hall, people go ahead with their routine life.....I agree people may not appreciate if some movies shows the nation in bad light.....

It is not a big deal... You dont like it??? Ban it.... You like it?? Watch it......

Movie has nothing to do with GoI or Indians...... similarly A pakistani movie has nothing to do with GoP or Pakistani's in general....

If there is a movie asking Pakistan to attack India, it wouldn't have been produced without Government's consent. Haris Saeed is not enemy of the producer, director or actors.

Avoid irrationality in your posts.. stupidity is stupidity irrespective of dimension it arrives from.
