In a reply to an RTI filed on April 1 by Harsha Kandukuri, a student of the Azim Premji University, Bangalore, the PMO stated that the Fund is not a public authority under section 2 (h) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, and therefore it won’t be able to divulge information sought in the application.

Public has to donate, but has no right to any details

Not a single rupee of PM Cares fund will be audited by CAG, ED or other regulatory bodies of India. In any case, the integrity of these bodies have been severely compromised under the influence of BJP top brass.

If not done already, India is moving to a phase where Indian taxpayer money, RBI forex funds, and other government assets will no longer be subjected to any regulatory oversight.

That is why Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Piyush Goyal, and Team Ambani-Adani (the real rulers of India) are not quite bothered about declining tax collections. Even the much touted GST, a brainchild of Narendra Modi, is seeing serious funds shortfall.

Modi and Team are treating India's major revenue streams as their own private bank balance. Chile under Pinochet is an example of a country where the leaders and their cohorts lived off the largesse of the Chilean tax-payers. They did that until the country became completely BANKRUPT.

Another example would be Zimbabwe under Robert Mugabe.

The disaster party called BJP can only lead India to financial bankruptcy and severe economic distress. Their working template is similar to Anil Ambani's Reliance group.

Prosperity is going to become a thing of the past for most Indians.

Given your penchant to show everything in negative about India on PDF, one cannot be faulted for doubting your loyalty. Even then if you have not contributed and when supreme court of the land upheld constitution of such a fund, what exactly is your butt hurt? That a BJP PM was able to induce enough confidence that Indian public donated in billions for good of the country?

One of the most valuable things I got from India was an education. Part of that education was to think critically and question those in power. For that, I am eternally indebted to my teachers, who taught us this, despite it not being part of the syllabus. Sadly, seems that your school and teachers did not offer that.

So yes, I am using an archaic principle called "freedom of speech" to question the motives of the PM Cares fund.

Politicians should exist to serve the people. In India, they serve to enrich themselves and their associates. If you cannot question that, then you deserve the politicians that you get.
