What's new

Cops shut down dance party in Lahore after cleric's threat

That's general knowledge.
I guess he is referring to extremism in general.
I understand but it is important to grasp the wider picture of extremism.

Does extremism exists only in the domain of religious clergy? What about extremism in neo-liberal circles?

the party was founded by son of a liberal leader frontier Gandhi who was against the idea of Pakistan should we expect his remnants to be loyal to Pakistan
read some history other than your text books
there support to Afg is enough to make them anti Pakistan
Ahh. And were the Hindu nationalists liberal too??? [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

Well i guess we should make people hate these mullahs by exposing their real faces.Over time people will change their mind sets.
Also we should try to teach our youth a real history not a distorted one.A real secular vision of MA Jinnah.

And what our mullah written constitution had done for arranging dance parties inside closed doors??
You are a criminal even if you drink alcohol inside your doors or anytime the hudood ordinance can apply on you for extra marital relationships.Welcome to the 6th century.

Jinnah did not envision secular Pakistan.
Not my fault if Russians got to you.

Two nation theory is like not even in books now anymore. Take a look to the east buddy

You mean alt left? Yup. That happens too. At a lesser scale, but equally condemnable (if it happens. I am yet to see a single incident which has not been done by PAC. Some media links please?). But to use that to suppress the alt right would be wrong. Extremes of both sides are wrong.

In theory liberalism is more or less idealism for the hazy but that's just my opinion while enjoying a Cuban

Reality is that extremism exists in different domains and takes many forms. However, so-called liberals tend to highlight only one aspect of it (the Mullah aspect) and use it as the basis to attack every religious cleric out there who dares to speak against fahashi.

I am just pointing out the obvious by connecting the dots.

*scratches head*
Faiz wasn't with Congress. So weren't the other Islamic Socialists. They were pretty liberal too.

Without any doubt Jinnah envisaged a secular pakistan.
I request you to learn the true facts and do some research if that,s allowed in your madrassa.
Of course secular system is failed in its every test.Take a look at USA,Canada,UK etc.All are failed states

I get the impression that a large number of people - hailing from well-to-do backgrounds - are suffering from an identity crises of sorts. They tend to be addicted to materialism and worldly gains mostly. As they sink deeper into the abyss of materialism; they are less likely to study Holy Quran and Hadith to understand Islam in its true form. End result is that their knowledge of Islam will be restricted to the narratives sold to them by neo-liberal forces through social media. Sooner of later, some of them will forget what Islam is about and what kind of state Pakistan was meant to be.

Time for some introspection, my brothers.

When did i say incest relation should be allowed Mr?
Incest is a offence even in some western nations.
But by the way we officially declared incest legal by allowing those cousin marriages. And yet you have the audacity to point fingers on others. It,s like pot calling the kettle black.

You are wrong, my friend.

Quaid-e-Azam stood for following ideals:

1. UNITY
2. FAITH
3. DISCIPLINE

FAITH motivated him to seek establishment of Pakistan:

"Pakistan not only means freedom and independence but the Muslim Ideology which has to be preserved, which has come to us as a precious gift and treasure and which, we hope other will share with us."

Much of the WEST is sinking into the abyss of idiocracy and it will loose its power in the future.
