Cops nail China link with Naxals.
Dwaipayan Ghosh & Neeraj Chauhan, TNN | Oct 8, 2011, 03.33AM IST

New Delhi: In the first major evidence of Maoist link with China, the special cell of Delhi Police has learnt that a top guerrilla is operating an arms syndicate from there. Interrogation of two PLA leaders arrested last week revealed that the chief of the political wing of the People's Liberation Army - Irengbam Chaoren - is hiding in China. The police have also come to know that banned outfit PLA, having over 1,500 cadres, was planning to liaise with terrorist outfits based in ***, including Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and separatist groups based in Jammu and Kashmir and the northeast.

Officials also claimed that ISI was funding PLA for supplying arms and ammunition to Maoists in the country and a "Strategic United Front" was being made to carry out attacks in India and on security forces in the Naxal-affected areas. An official source said, "ISI and PLA are in touch and supplying Maoists with arms. They are supposedly using China as the alternative route." Police had arrested two top leaders - N Dilip Singh (51) and Arun Kumar Singh Salam (36) - from a Paharganj hotel. They found maps of training camps being run by PLA in Myanmar for Maoists.

Police claimed they have photographic evidence of the Myanmar-based PLA offering training in guerilla warfare to Maoist cadres from six Indian states in 2009 and 2010. The training camps were organized deep inside the forests of Orissa and Jharkhand. However, the revelation that ISI is secretly funding a part of the PLA activities has sent security agencies into a tizzy. "We have found a route for smuggling arms from *** to Myanmar through Nepal. We are yet to identify the men who are smuggling these weapons or the groups backing them," said a source.

"N Dilip Singh and Arun Kumar were arrested from a hotel in Paharganj on October 1. Following their arrest, the Manipur police have arrested three more persons in Imphal," P N Aggarwal, special commissioner (special cell) said. Arun was running a travel and tour office in Pune since 2008 and was trying to form a safe hideout for Maoists.

Let's see if the Indian Government are willing to take back their words.

No evidence of China supporting Maoists: Chidambaram - Times Of India

Indians can't win the war against Maoists, so they blame their two biggest neighbours for it. Let's see how much evidence you can bring before the UN, we'll take a careful look at it, right before we veto it.

They are supposedly using China as the alternative route.

Is this really all you can find? Supposedly being used as an alternative route?

Anything that traitor says is just programmed in him. He's neck deep in a case involving embezzlement. Who do you think we'd believe? a treacherous lout like Chidambaram or the forces? :azn:. Let me tell you one thing; the only reason why this government is not being overthrown with force by common Indians is because we don't want the country to be vulnerable to terrorism and expansion from across the border and are biding by time. Otherwise, Maino Madam and her pups would be in Italy with a political asylum long back.

Your Veto is a threat to us? Last time you used your 'clout', there was egg on your face in international media. Keep your veto for alarming Americans. Let's see who supports what.

Your Veto is a threat to us?

Not a threat, it just nullifies any use of the United Nations against us. You know, the United Nations, the organization responsible for international law. :azn:

Once someone has got veto power, they are like a monk with an umbrella.

Otherwise, Maino Madam and her pups would be in Italy with a political asylum long back.

I support this, it not right for an Italian to be the most powerful person in the Government of an Asian country.

If the news is true then we need to seriously think of allowing Tibetan insurgency.

LOL, you already hosted our Tibetan separatists in 1959. All it got you, was a defeat in 1962, the loss of Aksai chin, and a nuclear-armed Pakistan in response. You created an enemy out of China for no reason.

And you also got a Dalai lama, who does not even call for Tibetan independence.

Dalai Lama: Tibet Wants Autonomy, Not Independence - TIME

That was not a good deal for you. You should get a refund.

All bets are off if you guys support insurgency against our state. May be Dalai lama is a peaceful man. But if India wants it could definitely find enough angry Tibetans to start the insurgency. And all you can do is point us to 1962 war and feel comfortable.1962's India is not today's India. Obviously you don't war with us do you? I'm not sure if nuclear weapons will be excluded.

Some achievements Commies made as well under their glorious "chairman". Flattened in 67 by our soldiers, thrashed by Russians in 1969, thrashed and kicked out by a divided Vietnam following that timeline and now an "all weather friend" that is the hub of training radical jihadis straight into Xingjiang; whom you can neither keep nor kill right now.

Wow! I am amazed at the wonderful and illustrious achievements of the Red dragon..

Your Indian Army already admitted they are no match for China:

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sureesh Mehta has set off a storm by saying India cannot match China military force. Is it a warning from India's military that the government needs to hear?

"In military terms, both conventional and non-conventional, we neither have the capability nor the intention to match China force for force," said Admiral Sureesh Mehta.

For a nuclear-armed military representing the interests of a billion-plus people, the lack of confidence is quite striking. India's military leadership has made a stunning confession that New Delhi doesn't have the stomach for a fight, if push came to shove on the disputed Sino-Indian boundary.

"Whether in terms of GDP, defence spend or any other parameter, the gap between the two is too wide to bridge and is getting wider by the day," he said.

Because Tibetan exile government is based in India.

You couldn't do zilch about it.

you have the CCP to thank for that ;) chinese people want china to become militaristic and aggressive but that is against the CCP's "peaceful rise" policy. if not for the CCP, you would see nukes flying all over your country.

.
May be so in terms of winning the war. But India could cause enough damage that would last for decades to come. But can you bet that if these two countries engage in war then other countries wouldn't get involved too. I wonder who gets major support?

I am sure China would get support from outcasts.

Can't win by yourself then? Hahaha let's see who supports you, virtually every major nation has China as their largest trading partner.

If they wanted to intervene, they would have done so in 1962, when China was weak and had a dying economy. Not now, when we have the 2nd largest economy in the world and have become recognized as a great power.

And it's the Indian Army who is always whining about a "two-front war" which they have to fight alone. I guess they know a bit more than you do. :azn:
