I have been to Sikkim last year for sojourn. When India got its independence, Sikkim did not join India until 1975 and maintained its monarchy with Thondup Namgyal as the monarch.
For almost 20 years from 1950 to 1970 there was a constitutional government under the rule of Palden Thondup Namgyal. However, in 1973 riots broke out against the monarchy and again, help was sought out from India to control those riots. Indian army moved into Gangtok and referendum was held against monarchy. The entire saga of Sikkim unrest was the mechanization of RAW under the direction of Indira Gandhi. For that purpose, RAW used migrant Nepali population in Sikkim to instigate trouble. The indigenous Bhutia/Lepcha population was pro-freedom and loyal to monarchy. RAW used migrant Nepalis to organize demonstration against the King, vandalize the properties and to breakdown the law and order in Sikkim to give a pretext to India to intervene. Then Indian army invaded the royal palace, seized the king and organized a sham referendum under the supervision of Indian army whether Sikkim want to merge with India! Even a retard can guess what can be the outcome of that 'referendum' under those circumstances. These are the facts revealed in details in a book none other than the RAW chief who presided over the whole Sikkim operation.

In that case everyone will have to stand in line and not the Nawab alone. Secondly there is nothing wrong in CAA, NPR, majority of the Indians support only a few states and some political groups don't support. You cannot travel to any country without valid passport, visa or any other travel document. The Nawab should first read the CAA and then comment.
