There needs to be a 'controlled' training program for young boys and it must not be compulsory.
Who should be trained?
Year 12 male graduates
Must volunteer
Must be physically and mentally sound with no criminal record.
Who will train them?
Retired Army troopers and officers will be given an option to report to their local garrison. Spec ops retirees to get a priority.
They retire in late 40s when they are yet to marry their kids and are still fit for training roles. It will solve that problem.
Where will they be trained?
In local garrisons and open fields set up by the Army in all provinces.
What would they learn?
A modular course encompasing following aspects of war fighting.
Basic descipline and drill
Hand to hand combat
Navigation
Using and maintaining fire arms of all kinds
Crowd control
First aid
Civil Defense
Military Communication
Survival tactics
Basic human intel training
Basic Ambush, Sabotage, Propaganda training.
Principles/Ideology?
Candidates will be taught the Pakistani value system, history and geopolitics.
The ultimate aim would be to build descipline in the youth, a sense of nation/brotherhood and to raise another line of defense should the Army need reinforcements.
They will also act as 'Raza Kar' during events like Eid, Ashura etc to beef up security so the law enforcement can do its job properly.
Perks?
Program graduates would receive a certificate after 10 week of training to help them in future employment and easy Uni admission.
Extra marks in high school exam.
NIC/DL and a fire arms license.
They should also get a free rifle from the state.
Easy entery into civil/military services
Such a program will have great benefits for our society, will create a sense of duty, descipline and sacrifice. It would also be the ONLY way to get a firearm. In the long term our armed citizenry will have much better gun discipline too.
Thanks
