was i the only one who noticed that he deliberately choose to deliver the speech in urdu rather than english?

Excellent Speech. But where was Nawaz ????

You'll need a PHD to understand their internal commitment and the politics. If you read the speech (or hear it if you speak Urdu), you'll notice he's very decisively mentioned "civil-military" commitment on key points and that all institutions have to work together for Pakistan.

But on India, after your general's recent statement, a clear warning and response was needed. Just like Modi didn't interfere with his Army Chief's speech, or stood next to him, the Pakistanis are just as smart, they are keeping the military machine and diplomacy separate. Same goes for the US, the generals were itchy to hit Iran, the civilian government was trying to negotiate. The end result is, so much pressure was put on that instead of twiddling thumbs, the Iranians had to come to the table or be ready for consequences. Similarly, this here, was a direct response and a warning to Indian recent big shot statements about war and all.

Now if or when India twists and turns tomorrow and cries to the world that Pakistan wants a "war", the democratic PM, NS might send "Mangoes" (which is really another polite political slap on top of this) :omghaha: .

Good team work for Pakistan. Good cop, bad cop. This was another example of institutions growing strong. When there is an even like this in the Pentagon, the POTUS doesn't go. Similarly, this even was in the GHQ. The democratic civilian PM didn't need to attend.

I am liking the direction Pakistan is headed in. Very strong Civil-Military coordination, which will only take the country forward. The next 36 months are super critical for Pakistan as majority of the large projects will go live between this time. These projects will become the lifeline to grow the economy very rapidly. This is what's getting the Indians diarrhea day in and out. They do not want Pakistan to do what they did to the world. Pump in 10-20 million people savvy in technology and engineering at half the cost of Indian labor. Which Pakistan can easily do but if India tries to compete, their economy will start to get less revenue from services (not to mention the competition and lost business).

Time for Pakistanis to stick together as a nation and just proceed towards advancement of the country.

There is a HUGE focus now for nationalism inside Pakistan. if you remember, SS did a lot of events inside Lahore to make the largest flag and all, just to create that spirit. The SC ordered Urdu to be used inside courts, instead of English. This is a continuation of that same mentality.

Your country follows Indian culture in terms of media and movies. There's been a deliberate attack on Pakistan's own civilization and her identity since the 65. So these efforts for Urdu, are to create that nationalism spirit needed. In the next few years, the economic plan calls out for Pakistan to be providing hi-tech and engineering labor services to other countries. You want your labor to stand up with nationalism, and tell the world they are proud Pakistanis. For that, you, as a nation need to get away from the Indian culture and follow your own nationalistic identity. These things will promote that.

Pakistan is no longer a lower class nation. You are around becoming the top 26th economy within the next few months and then foretasted to be in the top 15 economies of the world. That's TOP 15 countries that would have the most impact from all standpoints in the world (financial, economical and defense wise). So welcome to the big boy club. Some of the posters on here, need to act like big boys too, lesser the hate and anti-West posts, support your system and whoever is in power as they are doing the work. And wait for your favorite politician's turn. Don't show a negative image of your country as it paints a bad picture for readers across the globe.

After many years i enjoyed Defence day . A clear message is delivered to the enemies of Pakistan we are ready Cold / Hot or any Generation of war . Bring it on and you will regret

THis is exactly what I would say and I have been saying and to be honest we tend to find people here who just want to say crap about the civilian govt but this is just to cover PTI's scams and what they did to Pakistani economy recently. Pakistan Army and Current Pakistani Government is playing really well. May Allah keep them all safe. Ameen.

A befitting response by COAS to all the enemies of Pakistan. Hot ho ya cold ho, bus khushbu laga kaar aana.

The army chief comes under the MOD, that's why we saw COAS entering with our defense minister khawaja asif in today's show. A pretty solid indication that army is strictly staying in its domain while honoring the democratic norms which were previously being negated.

@Viper0011.
Good analysis
But let me take liberty to point out some obvious discripencies

You cannot compare the status of Nawaz and Modi nor the authority of Raheel and his Indian counter part ( hardy any Indian remembers his name nor any foreign Civil Leader meets him )

Under Modi India will never go crying to the world that Pakistan wants a "war" Pakistan right now is in Modi's "Total" Ignore List. Army/BSF has been given a free hand to deal with Pakistan assisted infiltration and to respond in more than adequate manner.

Perceived "Indian diarrhea" is a Pakistani delusion or it may be a military tactic to keep the country united. Check any Indian newspaper and you will not find anything written against Pakistan's development agenda or CPEC. (since CPEC goes through disputed territory therefore mandatory objection has been brought into the notice of China )

Anyways, Congrats for having a true Patriot and completely Honest General like Raheel Sharif, Who if given a chance could lead Pakistan better than corrupt Zardaris and Nawaz or immature IK

Absolutely, this is how the big powers play the game. The military is always powerful and even in the US too. But it comes under the Ministry or the Secretary of Defense. The democratic PM doesn't need to be there. Future looks good for Pakistan and a few members here, who are only here to bash the civilian government, need to realize that they are making Pakistan look bad and spreading lies and rumors. A country is a representation of its institutions working together.

Pakistan's civilians and the military are focused on making it one of the 15 most powerful countries on the planet, both financially and military-wise. End of ALL other stories and allegations. Watch and support and do your part!!! Its pretty obvious from just this ONE event that everyone's learned their domain and space and the fact that Pakistan has to go up, not down. The previous 70 years of neglect has started to disappear all across. So allow time for things to work out for your country.

Today's example of this event shows you that Pakistan has become a much more mature and stable country, where all of her departments and institutions work together. They operate within their boundaries and their goal is to grow Pakistan. And the public, whether they like the elected officials or not, should support the SYSTEM, and the COUNTRY. Don't write stupid negative remarks, and every-time the "itch" comes, see this video.

You want me to respond to this post written by someone who comes across as drunk or high on drugs? I'd suggest you re-read the crap above you call a post. Edit it, make it more mature and realistic and I will then respond!!!

Modi went to the world ALREADY crying a few weeks ago about Pakistan and pleading for "cooperation" and defense "partnerships" with the UAE and KSA. He got a middle finger from everyone. Who are you fooling??

So now he's back, failed politics and he's letting his Generals show anger and war mongering under the name of Infiltration. The REAL fact is, he's depressed on failed diplomacy against Pakistan and the fact that the PA and the Civilian government inside Pakistan have taken a stand, Altaf (RAW's supported agent) has lost control, meaning India has lost control in Karachi, and same in Baluchistan and in KPK. So there is just as much infiltration from India too. Get your facts straight.

Modi, out of frustration, told the US on that little terror attack, the GPS data that was "supposed" to be provided to the US, hasn't made it yet even announced months ago. The US told him to sit back and don't risk American investments. Tells me how much Modi's ignoring Pakistan. Diplomatic defeats and embarrassment don't mean he's ignoring it. Its shameful when you couldn't get an agreement from ONE country that you visited.

Today, JUST today, the RSS (one of the most anti-Pakistan elements inside India), came out and said they support a dialogue with Pakistan.

In the bold part, you are now creating a DIVIDE inside Pakistan again, like you've always done. Gen. Raheel is a soldier and he is doing his job VERY well. While NS is the democratically elected PM and he's doing his job very well.

I think Gen. Singh may have more balls than Modi doesn. Plus he's a Punjabi so he'll make sure minorities are protected inside India and no Muslim, Christian or Sikh gets killed or murdered by Hindu extremists like Modi. How about you change Modi with Gen. Singh??? I think Gen. Singh would lead India about 200 times better than Modi.

Pakistani posters, understand your neighbor. See the bold part from the post above. They've ALWAYS created a DIVIDE inside of you, whether through their media, movies, supporting crap in Baluchistan or on here, by suggesting a working system to be broken and the COAS to be the PM, etc, etc. These are the SAME people who hate Pakistan Army the most and have cried to the world against the PA for decades. And now, TODAY, they think Raheel Sharif is the best man to run Pakistan :yahoo:  :omghaha:. ALL because they do NOT like a stable, established Pakistan moving towards economic growth and prosperity. It is your job to not create divide between you and continue to run the system towards success. 3 more years and the country will have all the foundation infrastructure ready to support growth for centuries to come. This is an effort to protect and grow Pakistan for the future generations. Not what's already past and you must come together as a nation and support your country's growth, without letting others divide you.

Sorry Bro, I have read every word of yours

You are completely right.

On all diplomatic front Modi is a loser and Pakistan rules the roost.

Pakistan is in the safe hands of Democratically elected competent politicians and the term Martial-Law is non-existent in Pakistan.

Thank You for opening my eyes. May Allah keep on bestowing Pakistan with analyst like you
