COAS warns Nawaz in covered words; Is this going somewhere?

Do you think that nations like the U S and britain and australia and germany etc are built on the rule of law----then look up their history----. All these nations----their foundations have been cemented with the enforcement of order in the society first and foremost---.

Before Police came the small town Sherriffs, who were locally elected. They created the order but only after the Law that put them in power was exercised by the people.

.
I would pick the Rule of Law. The Order needed would flow from that. Imposing Order by illegal force will always fail in the long run.

Hi,

Then you have picked pakistan----you will never achieve your goals ever.

If you had picked order---I would say that you have picked the united states---you will be successful.

Order and rule of law is like a donkey and a cart-----where the the donkey is the order and the cart is the rule of law---.

If you take the donkey away from the cart---the cart becomes heavy and cumbersome---but you can use the donkey---not as efficiently----but still it will be the beast of burden for you---you just load up on it and it will go----but if the cart is left alone----then you have to load it and you have to pull it as well and be the donkey and then you are restricted to where you can go---the independant donkey can go more places with a load on its back---places not accessable to the cart.

Think Vcheng think.

Would you call him "Sir Musharaf" if he had murdered your family members at a mosque? I bet you would because you are a sell out and have absolutely no dignity.

Insulting someone wont achieve anything. Sir Musharraf did not kill anyone. It was the militants who were holed up inside a mosque who brought it on themselves.
The strange thing is that a mosque is a place of worship, a place where one goes to pray, what were weapons doing inside the mosque?
And anyday I will support my army over Islamic fundamentalists who killed a lot of our brave jawans.

Hi,

You are missing it----the rule of law and order is already in place.

The point is that the order was created by lawfully elected local people. The law comes first. Order enforced illegally is just rule by thugs.

Please dont make look our Army as just some ordinary bodyguards, gate keepers or Policemen...give them the respect they deserve...no where in the world, this institution is ridiculed and insulted on daily basis like it is done in Pakistan....its because of them that everyone in Pakistan is sitting safe in his/her house rite now....

PMLN ignorant leaders should zip their mouths and behave!

Respect is always earned, it can never be demanded.
whatever the case is,the Goverment running the country esp its top most leadership should have some ethics to pass any comment for anyone esp if its for an institution like army....such ethics are practised everywhere in the world ....

and we should be little more careful cuz we been fighting the war and Army being on the front, for years now...should be given much respect....

It is a two way street, and the legally subordinate office defers to the superior entity. In no civilized country can the COAS openly threaten a legally installed government.

The COAS is sub-ordinate to those holding elected office who are entitled to air their views openly by law. If he responds by such threats, he is no better than a thug in a shiny uniform.
