Some of the famous items of South Africa are:-
1) The G6 155mm self-propelled gun-howitzer is a battle proven, highly mobile, fully protected, wheeled, self-propelled gun with a firing range of more than 50km.
2) The Advanced High-Performance Reconnaissance Light Aircraft (AHRLAC) is a South African-designed and developed aircraft, destined for a role in a wide range of civilian and military tasks.
3) The Atlas Cheetah is a South African developed and manufactured fighter jet, which was essentially an upgrade of the Dassault Mirage III.
4) The Denel Rooivalk is an attack helicopter manufactured by Denel. The Rooivalk sports two staggered cockpits and two turbine engines, and the main and rotor blades can withstand hits from small arms fire.
5) A-Darter & LRAAM missiles
6) Mokopa Missile
7) Torgos cruise missile with 300 km range
8) Umkhonto series missiles

South Africa has good defence industry specially when it comes to Artillery
Maybe we could get a few Galils off their hands, I'd really fancy myself a Galil :D

IWI Galil is an Israeli Rifle, But South Africa produces it's own one under a License called the R4:

Based off of the AK platform, The Israelis kind of perfected it.
Power of the 7.62X39 with little recoil and super light weight.
If there's one thing they make which I find impressive, It's the Weapons.

Pakistan will be hardly interested in this GUN, In future if we decide it would be MPT-76 I think

Ofcourse Pakistan wouldn't want this gun. It is too expensive to equip the whole Army with this. Other than that, It is somewhat new, It has different configurations like this:

Also has a Sniper and LSW version:

Uses 7.62 and 5.56.
I said I'd fancy it for myself, Not for the Military! :D

I'm not a fan of Turkish guns... I tried out the UTAS UTS 15, It felt like it was going to break apart any moment or explode in my hands. Couldn't do more than 6-7 rounds without it malfunctioning. (Good gun concept otherwise!)
The MKEK MPT seems rather weird. POF should just develop a new rifle instead of us buying from other countries. It'll help the economy aswell.
But then again, this is getting way off topic.

Why would SA go for JF-17?
They're stuck with those silly and useless JAS 39 Gripens. I'm sure the JF 17 does much better than that piece of Junk which apparently will fall out of the sky for no reason :p

Either the Hungarians suck so bad at flying, they can loose 2 Gripens within one month,
or the JAS 39 sucks so bad.

I think PAF people will be involved in case of ammo/tech for JF17. Gen at most go for land based ammo, and at most ammos/tech for helis.
