It's a tag team effort IMO, i think someone here also pointed an instance where COAS went SA while PM IK went Malaysia.

Timings cant be more wrong. Yanks are clearly fuming with IK as to why he going to Moscow at a time when Russia and America are at loggerheads over Ukraine.

There's no connection, he never said we followed our national interests at all times, clearly personal interests were also (mostly) followed, hence the high rates of corruption. That does not mean a relationship with the USA is not a valid part of our national interest.

You could end up even worse, like Afghanistan, thank God a blunder at this magnitude wasn't and isn't being made.

All I can say is thank God someone like you doesn't have any actual influence, your country is quite literally reliant on the West from exports, to military equipment, to the economy. They could put you in a much much worse position.
