CNN: India's $17 billion bullet train: Leap forward or waste of money?

UK and Taiwan, huge regions they have. and you are working on it now but we've done that already many times, so , I can only say good luck.
Yeah, we'll take our chances with the Japs. We are not constructing 1000mile track. So, I think it's safe to assume that, things are on the right path.

Actually a great project. Capitalism doesn't work by working for the masses. It is more of a trickle down approach.

So you agree we know to squeeze max out of the deal ,so your argument about not knowing to bargain goes out of the window.
And I don't know why you are rolfing unless you dint realise what you wrote about cheap stuff and China, you can re-read your post and try to understand in the mean time let me :omghaha: and if you still don't understand, you can always ask me
Depends how you define bargaining, if it's just about talking loudly and arguing none stop without thinking about a win win situation then yes, India is top notch, a good negotiator will ensure a win-win situation, not a win-lose situation where the other party would find other ways to compensate for the loss. And believe me, Japanese companies outsource a lot from China, components can be A grade to D grade, imagine if you push them too much, which grade of goods do you think they would purchase from China? In the end, who do you think will lose out? Japan or India?:enjoy:

Around 30,000 Indians died in railway accidents in 2015, according to official data.

Is this a misinformation or what? The number just can't be true, it's like a whole army being wiped out every year. How can any railway system kill 30,000 people every year?

The trains work differently with different rules. People ride on the roof and fall of or get killed when the train enters a tunnel.

Grade A is not cheap, it is only cheaper than Japanese equivalents, grade D the cheapest is suitable for Indian markets.
