If this is the standard you guys have then it is going to be very difficult all over the world for the people of your Genetics to respect the natives (do I need to give you examples). Because you guys will cry when face when natives assert themselves (by electing Modi, Yogi, Trump, etc..) but will have no problem exhibiting barbarity (sorry for using this word but there is no other apt word that can describe your peoples action) when you guys are in majority (do I need to give you examples).

As per my rational understanding it's all related to confidence and attitude. You guys certainly had aggressive attitude and confidence hence you were able to overwhelm the natives in the non-Modern times. Our people were rules abiding rather than object oriented and were apologetic and self loathing, even to this day which contributed to their downfall. Our people attitude was changing to start from Maratha rule but were put down by much superior British, in both hardware and attitude.
