There is a solution to that
Use electoral votes

This can give some provinces more seats. Just like in USA sometimes the losing president gets more votes

Pakistam can in same way make electoral votes

Or PM should be automatic whoever party wins more candidates(PM should be notified in advance, this will essentially be a replicate of USA system). No confidence movement should be abolished(or made 2/3 vote, again a replica of usa system requring 2/3 votes for outsing one

1- yes..it would but you have senate to protect minority province right
Right now the system is even worse..its 1 pwrson 1 vote..e.g if a party win only in punjab it can still form govt as punjab has 55% seats as per its population!

With elctroal votes this can decreased to 49% forcing a candidate to take atleast some seats in other provinces. Right now if PMLN win all seats in punjab it can choose its PM with zero votes from sindh kpk or balochistan
Infact PMLN can bring its PM by only winning in central punjab because few cities have more seats then whole provinces

for thta my friend you need more provinces, 3 parts of punjab, 2 of sindh, 2 of kpk and 3 of balochistan.than make one for hazara community in gb and than you have pretty much a good number of provinces for the electoral votes!

Originally president had powers now they have zero powers
Senate for all practical purposes has no power what so ever

It can only delay things thats pretty much it

The road to a better democratic system passes through this swampy mess, without any shortcuts. The improvements will be slow and messy, without a doubt, but there is no alternative but to carry on.

Even a change to a Presidential system, or that tried-and-true backup of martial law would not work without improving the basics: local bodies, elections within parties themselves and regular elections, no matter what. Trying to make a democratic system work where every major party is a personal fiefdom of some kind is an oxymoronic endeavor to begin with, by definition.

How would intra party elections stop MPs from becoming Lotas? Remember PTI is the only party that has even held intra party elections and yet it got so many Lotas!
