What's new

Maryam Nawaz lashes out at Supreme Court judges

The real winner here is due process of law. This mentality of "the only verdict I trust is the one that favors me" and "the only election that is fair is what I win" MUST end if rule of law is to take hold in Pakistan. We ALL must learnt to support what is right, not just what suits us.

Completely agreed.

This whole process has exposed PDM very badly.

PTI, for all it's faults, doesn't go around crying that the bench wasn't of their choice, bench fixing, or throw mud at the judges. They do not agree with the result, criticize it, but do not raise questions on judges.

PTI's only complaint was why courts opened before midnight. Well now we know because they are still opened tonight to enforce their orders regarding new CM Punjab

on party instructions Gov. refused to take oath so President will take oath now.

dentonic wali bandri wadiaay.....buhut aala

How is this in contradiction to the previous decision by the court?

It is EXACTLY the same one.

They are just trying to spread a lie so perhaps the people who are partial to them accept this excuse, kyunkay is awam ko apni tehqeeq karnay ki to adat hai hi nhn.

Which reminds me, @muhammadhafeezmalik , yar tum nay bataya nhn woh wala part jdhr 'Constitution clearly says that party head is the one who gives direction". Still waiting.

So, the establishment chose to stay neutral even in the judicial proceedings that deliberated the outcome of electoral politics in Pakistan. The neutrality has benefitted PTI in this occasion.

Not by choice, more like compulsion.
