CM Balochistan inaugurates 1122 rescue service in Quetta

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Sanaullah Zehri inaugurated Rescue 1122 service in Quetta on Tuesday. Twenty volunteers have been initially trained in Punjab Emergency Service Academy to work for 1122, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, Zahid Saleem, the Director General of Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) briefed the chief minister and other high level officials regarding the project.

Talking to media after the inauguration ceremony, the Balochistan CM said that PDMA is fully prepared to deal with any kind of untoward situation in the province. He said that there will be no compromise on law and order situation and the rescue service will be expanded to the other areas of the province as well after Quetta.

Zehri distributed the keys of first five ambulances among the drivers and inaugurated by driving an ambulance himself...

Very Good Step Indeed. 1122 is the best Rescue service in Pakistan as it provides rescue in almost every incident. I wish this Rescue service could be one of the best and well trained Rescue Services in the World. Although, more funds should be allocated for this service. They should be provided Helis for Fire Fighting as we have seen some worst fire incidents in our country.

Nice step, next should be for Baluchistan Highway & Motorway Petroling Police with messive petroling from Quetta to Punjab, Quetta to Gwadar, Quetta to Karachi Quetta to Wanna & KPK to stop drug smuggling, weapons smuggling etc.
