Bear McCreary is a flat out musical genius as far as I'm concerned. His Battlestar Galactica scores are near legendary status. This particular piece starts to really get the blood pumping at around the 55 second mark.

I don't know if this counts.
This is brilliant instrumental music from a brilliant movie UDAAN.
Please do listen till the end, it gives you a sense of peace.

@Jungibaaz

I also really like this song from the movie, although its not classical (sorry)......
It's got awesome lyrics. Please do watch the movie too.It's because of movies like these that many people still have faith in bollywood.

One of the most famous Russian Waltzes
Dmitri Shostakovich - Waltz No. 2. Its history is full of uncertainties. It was written in 1938. Then Wikipedia declares that
¨The score was lost during World War II, but a piano score of the work was rediscovered in 1999 by Manashir Yakubov.¨" But facts contradict this assertion. In 1955 this waltz sounded in the Soviet film ¨The First Echelon¨ at 1.27.33. from the beginning.

Next time it was used in Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut.
Here is a clip with Sophie Marceau.

I consider the 5th Symphony and the 2nd waltz Shostakovitch's two signature pieces.

And while we're talking about Russian composers, here is Tchaikovsky's Swan lake and the Nutcracker.

Personally, I prefer Swan Lake.

I enjoy this piece very much. Dvorak composed this after visiting the United States and said he was inspired by Native American and Black music.
