There is not much that can be done to brainwashing. The Saudis tried reversing it, it backfired in their faces(ironic that they sort of pushed extremism along themselves). Think about a scenario for the coutry like India...If it is allowed to have Burqa in the school, then tomorrow, someone will say Lungi is my culture..another will say wearing sareee and covering head with Dupatta is the culture...in this way schools will be a show case of different religion and culture..but no real study will happen..

I am with the pricipal..that schools shoule be kept out of any kind of religion and dogma of culture...If one has any objection...looks for Muslim nations to send the kids..and same is applicable for all other religion too..I do not want to see our schools filed with Saree, Lungi and Burqa and all sort of things in the school..

As long as school makes it perfectly clear before admission that they wont allow hijab in classrooms, I dont see the issue. They are private school, admission is not guaranteed to everybody.

Yes, if the School requires students not to wear religiously associated articles, then students must not or else find another School. However, there appears more than meets the eyes.

I know you don't use this forum anymore but still in continuity of what you said ................. the name of school is enough to prove its religious association.
