india can probably defeat BD quickly on paper but reality would be different.

China won't play the bystander.

Even if BD is defeated on the ground, India won't be able to hold it. Quite simply 160mn nation is unconquerable.

But on to reality.... is this ever likely that there would be such an invasion.

Answer is roundly no.... two poor countries going to war would benefit neither. After the military conflict the real war begins. In a war of attrition BD populace will fight tooth and nail with nothing to loose. India will suffer for no benefit. Srilanka is a case in point in a much smaller theatre of war.

Neither BD nor Indians are stupid enough to let any situation decend into war.

Thank you for your kind words Mr. spokesman. However I must mention that I'm not really an example that others should follow. I do troll and sometimes make posts which can be offensive although I only do it as a reply to someone who started it first. Nevertheless I have received two warnings so far and next time it is the ban hammer.

And yeah, most of the international remains the same regardless of govt.
