No punishment for blasphemy in Islam. Blasphemy laws are just an extension of the Mullah made religion being followed by the majority in Pakistan. Mullahs use them to control and supress dissension.

I hope all western countries giving aid to Pakistan stop all doing so until blasphemy laws are abolished.

Do you actually believe a poor woman, mother of five children, living in 95% majority muslim country would go out of her way to pass derogatory remarks about the Prophet Muhammad (saw)?

So it seems you believe a local jahil ape mullah has more integrity than a women who continuously denies these charges? So if a mullah said he saw an alien committing blasphemy would you believe him even if you haven't seen this alien or the whatever passed between it and the Mullah?

As for your comment about India, I don't know why you brought that up. What has India or America got to do with Pakistan?

There is a huge difference between freedom of speech and inciting someone. If you said the things you said in public places in India or to some American, you would be beaten by the mob but the court of law would probably now penalize you for what you said. The court may penalize you for inciting and starting a fight but not for having a stupid opinion.

Your comprehension of freedom of speech is pretty pathetic. Go to India and say Hanuman was a effing ape, PEOPLE might beat you up, the GOVERNMENT will not punish you. Call someone's mother a pornstar in the USA, GOVERNMENT will not punish you for it. In fact, in both cases, the police will file charges against the people who beat you up or killed you. The difference between that a blasphemy law is that your GOVERNMENT punishes people who are accused of blasphemy. That is not true of any reasonable society in this world today. Everywhere else you can get hit with a slander charge but they have prove that first, you said it. Second, it's not the truth. Third, you saying it damaged them in somehow (no, hurt feelings don't count).

I agree with you. I can't believe that a woman is being put to death based on the word of people she was arguing with. The assumption that she would insult the prophet in a Islamic country with complete disregard for herself and her family, is just stupid. This case is tragic in itself. But the legal and procedural aspect of it is laughable.

The problem is not with the law, but with the implementation of the law

Many people stating that this law is wrong, people use this law for their personal benefits blah blah blah.......

ok I agree with it but disabling the law is not a solution, unfortunately there are several other laws that powerful & rich people use for their benefits against poor & weak people. I have seen many examples that some wadera and zamindar filed a false murder/theft case against a poor farmer and the later got jailed/hanged. So this has to be with the implementation of law, not with the law itself.


P.S: A man who is blasphemous towards our Holy Prophet is eligible to death in any part of the world not in just Islamic Republic, Islamic state etc

Freedom of speech is a right against state, not individuals. It just means that you could barf anything against state and state could not prosecute you for being a inbred retard.
