He is a very old god, having mythological origins that are older than language and civilization itself, and thus shares similarity with other gods of death in polytheistic religions ( Hades, Osiris, Thanatos ).


His primary job is to judge a person based on his Karma and assign him to hell, Heaven or Rebirth.

A good thing about old religions is that in them, sinners go to hell ,even if the sinner is a god. In Abrahmic religions, if you are not member of that religion, you are assigned to hell irrespective of your Karma ;while in Eastern ones, religion does not matter in afterlife. If you are a sinner, you are assigned to hell, irrespective of your religion.

People use all kinds of laws to their benefit. However, blasphemy laws are stupid. Why? Because the evidence is almost always based someone's word. Have you ever seen a blasphemy conviction based on video or DNA? Putting someone death based solely on someone's word that a crime has even OCCURRED is the height of stupidity.

Yaar the same thing i'm saying, since for some other crimes such as murder, theft, sexual harassment, rape etc. you cant believe someone's claims but require solid proof. similarly blasphemy law also requires solid proof. if there is concrete proof that no one can deny, then he/she must be hanged to death

You quoted my post, implied it was an apologetic account supporting the Pakistani court system (it was), and said that you wished Sharia law would be implemented in my country, since I was an apologist?

Well I'm sorry to say but only around 1% of our population is Muslim, and most of those are Hui. The demographics are stable (in part due to Chinese government policy) and so in a decade or so, our Muslim population will most likely stay at 1%, or even shrink.

There is zero chance of Sharia law in China, the demographic trends are against it.

No. Shariah courts are illegal in India. But there is Muslim personal law. A softer version to say very simply. But that too only in personal law, not criminal law.

But yes, your logical statement of more chance of it being successful in India than China is true, though both should be around 0.01%

I don't agree that there should be any kind of punishment for blasphemy. I think it's ridiculous that there is a punishment for hurting someone's feelings. That's idiotic.

No punishment for blasphemy in Islam. Blasphemy laws are just an extension of the Mullah made religion being followed by the majority in Pakistan. Mullahs use them to control and supress dissension.

I hope all western countries giving aid to Pakistan stop all doing so until blasphemy laws are abolished.

Yes that's the one. And Sun Goku is the Japanese pronunciation of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King (the characters are the same) and loosely based around the original story.

The Monkey King was probably inspired by Hanuman.

As for the picture above, if you read the characters it says 閻魔大王 = Great King Yama.
