Unfortunatly the vehicle encountered some problems in Haiti I read that somehow 7.62mm bullets managed to get thorugh its armor but thankfully no one was enjured. But I have to say the most impressive and frankly the most intemidateing thing about this platform is the amount of missions it can be used for i have not seen another vehicle of this kind anywhere also that 23mm cannon not something anyone should ever mess with.

I seriously doubt the validity of the report and even its true, it just some lucky shot. Remember the news with photo and witness of M1A2 tank was disable by a 12.7mm sniper gun in Iraq where it penetrated the armour and disable the power supply? Why no western new make a big stir of it and claim M1A2 is lousy that even it cannot even withstand a 0.5 shot?

Do not be so naive and believe every news write by the white man.

a sniper can disable tank with some accurate shot,and thats no secret as some of the very important components of tank(optical equipments,sensors for fire control system,antenna,running gear,engine and fuel cells) are positioned outside with little protection from a accurate shot.and its no white man's conspiracy.same goes for APCs which has lighter protective gear are vulnerable to .50 cals and armour piercing rounds,incendiary rounds from snipers.so,its stupid to think that these are conspiracy as it is true for APCs and tanks from all over world.not only tanks and apcs,a large number of equipments including missiles,helos,aircrafts etc are vulnerable too..read more and you'll know.there are some well known books on this topic in the internet.

That is not the problem, the problem is the western news make a big issue of it and use this as the reason to smear the APC as low tech and not well protect to the extend of not taking small arm as intended and spread negative image which even misled our pakistanis friend. This ZFB05 is produced directly from the US dismal experience of their humvee in Iraq. It is produced to address the issue of humvee vulnerable to IED and small arms. You can see the high base , making it less vulnerable to mines and making a better cross country abilities. It armour is definitely able to withstand small arm as shown. Something you do not see from standard US humvee.

I think I do not need to hard sell for this APC, the youtube video more or less tells you what this APC can do.

As regard to issue of M1A2, I can tell you. The sniper gun pierce thru the tank armour and hit the power cable inside which disable the whole tank. It is a very small hole, so the calibre is definitely a 12.7mm shot. Not as what you think to disable any cable outside. And I do not think US is so stupid to put any critical cable outside the tank unprotected.
