As far nukes are concerned, nukes were funded by taxes of citizens of Pakistan, developed by civilian scientists and those nukes are for the protection of citizen of Pakistan. If a rogue force in Pakistan threatens the Citizens then hand over those nukes to Airforce and Navy. Pindi Boys would be just as happy with their DHA plots.

Funded, developed, sure, but securing and growing arsenal is the real art. One wrong move and its all over.

Im convinced that a peaceful solution can resolve our issues. No need to go full ballistic on jawans standing on the roads. That said, traitors and corrupt leeches in the higher ups both in the Armed Forces and burocracy shouldnt be spared. A complete restart of the system is needed.

M-113's mobility is comparable to tank but it lacks the protection and the firepower. A turret for tank is manned, In PA's case, it doesn't seem a manned turret but the weapon caliber is too small still. Below are manned turrets with cannons up to 90 mm caliber.

Your dream of MRAP will become true along with a light armored 4x4, but it will take some time. Maybe they should have put a M-113 with TOW or Anza, who could tell if its a Tank destroyer or a SAM launcher.

So calling M-113 a tank -well the Australians tried to make a tank of it and so did Philippines and few others.

M-113 Vs IED's would be a fruitful discussion. M2 Bradleys didnt fare well too.

For an MIB, you would think that the armored brigade is sitting in Chunian albeit under 4-Corps for MIB to show presence, but maybe QRF design or the units deployment have been altered.

Maybe a model of JF-17 armed with PL-15s on the chowk could have done the job too ?
