Chinese Viewers Can't Get Enough of Indian TV Shows

I watched this a long time ago in Sri Lankan TV

Hero (2002) That was a great wuxia flick. The movie is like poetry in motion, with enchanting soundtrack. I prefer it to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, even though it won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film.

Another self-masturbation article Indian are good at. 200,000 online viewer ONLY?
Hindi dubbed Chinese movies and show attracting millions of viewer. It's all over youtube.

Indian entertainment doesn't sell in China and East Asia.

I didn't check the source or the author, but the title gives the impression it's probably Indian, we know how Indian media love to sensational stuff.

Just checked, it's Sputnik Asia, article from New Delhi.

Wuxia? never heard of it.

Frankly speaking though, despite of being neighbors, despite of being two of the most ancient civilizations on earth, we (Chinese and Indians) know very little about each other. Average Indian know nothing about Chinese culture, beliefs, rituals and religious subjects, and I doubt any average Chinese citizen know much about India.

Many of the things we usually associate with China are not even Chinese (atleast not exclusively chinese), like chow-mein/noodles, dimsums/momo, bone-china crockery kung-fu/judo-karate etc (BTW, is Jackie chan Chinese? I love him).

In fact, I don't know why or how, but Japan has much more exposure in India. Many Indians think companies like Hyundai, samsung etc are japanese.
