In a diverse country like India - there will always be a diverse variety of views. Now see the reason why I called India as united despite it's mind boggling differences. You have quoted some example here -

i. Punjab - The obvious reference goes to the Khalistan issue. But who eliminated it? The Punjab police headed by KPS Gill.

ii. Kashmir - The so called Kashmir intifada was a worrying concern indeed. Who faced them head on ? The Kashmiri Village Defence Committees, the JnK Police and the JnK Light Infantry.

iii. The North East - Your instructors failed you again here. There is no one single group in the North East. The most ferocious ones were in Nagaland. But guess what? The actions that forced the National Socialists to agree to a ceasefire were the Naga regiments of the Indian Army themselves.

Goa, Hyderabad etc are moot points, I won't even explain why, our being evil should satisfy you.

I will not repeat this, so read it at least twice to register properly.

This guy is referring to Hyderabad and me being from Telangana,we actually welcomed the Indian Army and kicked out the Razakars and Nizam from Hyderabad state.
As for differences between Andhra and Telangana people,there are none, we speak the same Telugu language have the same culture and even marry as usual.I don't know what differences he was talking about,politics are different but people to people we are the same.

I had Naga classmates as friends in college,they were of the opinion that army did excesses in N-E due to AFSPA but in the end they confessed it was better being in India and enjoying freedom in a democracy than rather be in China and be persecuted as a Christian.

My assamese friends who are Ahom are the most patriotic folk i ever seen.
