They toss around a live grenade within this circle for a few seconds and then throw it into a hole. Now that's awesome.

. .
Pointless and borderline stupid... well whatever makes them happy.... seems a lot of fun though... jumping around the snow and juggling live ammo.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^
that's fake ....
watch @ 0.18 sec .. soldier drops grenade by his feet and somehow it explodes inside the that hole ..

Watch it again, he threw the cover off. Nade went in.

No, that is stupid. You do not need such games to instill a sense of respect and a little of fear of ordnance. Am not saying that to 'smear' Chinese troops. American soldiers occasionally do act that stupid as well.

Actually, if you have any clue at all, it would be clear that the commentator was making fun of the Chinese.

Now, now. The video was explaining all the facets of "awesome" training being given to the troops. Especially liked the scientific aspects; like shaking those Jerry-Cans to check if the water is frozen and the 'hands-on' training to discover that snow is cold!

After that the "worthiest" graduates get to wear a coveted white (magic) cape.

All that is scary? :what:

 the video was plainly funny.

All that I can worry about is after that drill, were the frozen recruits themselves able to pi$$? Did they need to be defrosted? Could they find "little Willy"? ;-)

What these Chinese are training we are doing very day in Ladakh and Saichen Glacier..... Its funny they are forced to do it we can make it out from their empression, and our troops are doing it for the country and happily....After looking at those training method I think out Scouts are better in Mountain training.

Your men happily turned around and ran for your country in 1962, leading to your brigadier general getting captured and paraded.

if you have any clue at all, 99% of youtube commentators look like this
I do not do Youtube, and I actually served, so I would bow to your expertise.
