Chinese N-plants in Pakistan violates NGS rules: US

because unlike pakistan no other country involved in legal nuclear trade is involved in nuclear proliferation.

Other than United States, name one nation that has acquired nuclear weapons 'legally'?
No nation has acquired nuclear weapons 'legally' including India. India was gifted CANDU research reactor by Canada in 1950s on the promise that it would be used for 'peaceful' purposes and not for nuclear weapons. That promise was broken before the ink was dry on the paper. In fact, India took the Canadian designs and built clones of CANDU reactors. India further received technical assistance and equipment from Soviet Union, and later on from Russia, who also provided China with designs and training.

History of India's Nuclear Program:
Audio: 1974: Canada blamed for India’s ‘peaceful’ bomb
During the interview Indian Ambassador Samar Sen claimed India has no objection if Pakistan makes, or detonates, a 'peaceful' nuclear bomb. A claim that Pakistan makes to this day labeling its nuclear program 'peaceful' and the nuclear weapons as 'deterrent'.

We are talking about nuclear trade/proliferation. i.e. one country illegally selling nuclear knowledge to other. We didnt sell anything illegally to anyone...

Whether you sell something or not is irrelevant. If we were to follow your logic, Iraq, Israel, Syria, Libya, and South Africa never indulged in nuclear 'proliferation' because they were mere buyers. No they all did as did India. Your arbitrary definition of nuclear 'proliferation' is nothing more narcissistic masturbation.

Reality: India acquired its nuclear insights and materials 'illegally' which means you broke the same laws and rules that you so want others to obey and respect. Here's one for you:

Russia has significantly supported in developing India's nuclear programmes with technology and equipment, and become a main source of arms for the country, the CIA has said.

they can eat their heart out. Both reactors are already under construction

Islamabad: Pakistan government on Wednesday got clearance from IAEA Board of Governors for the application of safeguards for under construction nuclear power plants K-2 & K-3 in Karachi, an official statement said.

These two nuclear power plant units in Karachi are pressurized water reactors of 1100 megawatt each and are being acquired from China. The approval was made by the nuclear watchdog’s board of governors, statement reads.

Foreign Office further said in statement that “Civil nuclear power generation is an important component of Pakistan's energy security policy and a vital developmental imperative”.

“These power plants will serve as important vehicle to help meet Pakistan's increasing energy needs and support sustained economic growth and industrial development”.

“Pakistan has the rare distinction of keeping all its civilian nuclear facilities under IAEA Safeguards signifying its commitment to global objectives of non-proliferation,” also reads the statement.
