If its a victory, the Indians would be jumping and shouting by now. The reason they are quiet is because they are still in deep shit. Remember China issued an advisory for all Chinese nationals in India to return? I don't think this is a simple thing. My bet is something must be exchanged to return to status quo. That something is unknown, but China is negotiating in a position of strength.

This is more to do with Indian decision to join the quadruple indo Pacific defends pact ie usa Australia Japan India.

China is worried 80% of it's trade passes through Indian ocean and Malacca straights. Ie bay of Bengal.

Also Indian recent changes in Kashmir and declaration that gilgat Baltistan is our land and is disputed makes China aware they need more strategic points in their hands.
The Indians are building new roads in ladakh which can cut off main supply to gilgat.they want those roads stopped.

India will not stop the defense pact or the roads.
But I can tell.you now the Chinese will pull back and every body will be massively disappointed. China will not fire a bullet not even a single pellet

If we were just as docile as India we would be another US poodle, too bad we choose independence. Huawei was too powerful to begin with, with or without us submitting, they would have been targeted. We can't stop people from buying something costing 30% more, that's their choice but the largest telco market is using Huawei.

I respect your thoughts. But one small correction. Your definition of largest is based on present China and growth projection. that might not be the reality going forward. I doubt China will enjoy the same relative growth compared to other countries after this COVID even in a longer term. Threat to the China export and manufacturing is very serious if not taken care of, and solution to that is togetherness rather than egoism towards neighbors.
