But remember back in school days, even in a friendly fight, someone can make a "mistake" and hit too hard. Then it can quickly turn into a full-on fight.

Imagine in the video incident above, if someone's gun went off by accident (resulting in a loud gunshot), or something like that.

Then sh*t can hit the fan really quickly.

Yup. Even in those school fights someone deliberately used to hit someone really hard and things used to get nasty after that. Lets see what happens at LAC.

Only in our case at least we used to have school principal who used to suspend guys involved in the fight. This isn't the case here.

Exactly. Even a simple mistake in a friendly fight, can turn serious very quickly.

But school fights usually lead to limited damage, even if someone grabs a pen and tries to stab another guy (which is not even that rare).

But in this case, these guys are armed with weapons that can kill someone just by pointing at them. It's definitely a different level of seriousness.

That explains why you didn't have the guts to force them out during the Chumar incursion.

They sat 20-30 km deep into Indian territory for 3 weeks, and what could you have done?

Can any Chinese member who has links with PLA in any form tell me something? If any Chinese soldier gets shot somehow by Indian firing, how will they react? Will they protest verbally or will they counter attack? To what extent will they go for one Chinese soldier is shot dead by Indian military?

Both sides are laughing, a PLA soldier made a run for it as I've done in the past whilst inebriated.

The fact that the territory is disputed makes the fence a stone wall to be jumped over. The Chinese simply seem to be having fun while the Indians are a bit more serious about this. This could be because the Chinese do not give this incident(nor the Indian troops) that much attention.

I find this whole business of running past despite presence of sizable number of India soldiers as stupid...what he is going to achieve ...Declaration of accession of Tawang ???

This is happening because of weak government at center ...that is weakening day by day with crisis after crisis affecting India . Our neighbours are going to needle us every now and then ..whenever they realize they can get away with it ...

Good that it has been caught on tape ...it will only inflame public opinion against China !!!

military planners on both sides need to be aware of such things ...if public opinion is hardened then it won't be easy for government to negotiate when things actually go out of control !!!
