Hummer brand is owned by GM not any Chinese company. Chinese Humvee is Manufactured with the help of AM General(original creators of Humvee and Civilian Hummer).

It seems like you are right , my information was based on news from 2009 when Gm Announced that it is selling Hummer to a small newly Formed Chinese company , Hummer has been discontinued in 2010 as the Chinese regulatory authorities disapproved a $150 million take over Bid of the brand and the company by the Chinese company .
