There is one PDF Think Tank Analyst who starts numerous China hating and bashing threads every single day in PDF, if Pakistan has a handful of radicals like him who hate China to the core, Chinese citizens can never been safe working in Pakistan and CPEC could be eventually be ditched, China may look for alternative routes like the one through Myamar, just think about how hard now must be for the Chinese government to convince any Chinese engineers or workers to go to work in Pakistan, money is one thing, but what can be more valuable than your life.

The thing is, when u are in a war, there are bound to be casualties and sitbacks. This is 5th gen warfare, china knows it well. The perpetrators are the ones who are against both china and pakistan. If u cancel CPEC n shift to Myanmar (doznt connect Xinjiang), then these elements will follow there as well. Myanmar is even more unstable and far easier for such acts, their population already hates china. Pakistan population likes chinese ppl and u face such events, imagine what will happen in others. Its also the importance of CPEC that other countries dont want it to succeed and wants china to back off. I dont think chinese are that dumb to back off and neither are they scared to lay their lives.

We all know what happened few days ago with the death of the Chinese engineers. It is now clear that this was a terrorist attack despite Pakistan government's effort to pass this off as 'accident'. Chinese tend not to say much in public but of interest is the the outburst by the editor chief of Global Times Hu Xikin which is a state owned media thus reflects Biejings thoughts.

He expresses his shock and then says " If Pakistan’s capability is not enough, with its consent, China’s missiles and special forces can be put into action.".

This is pretty harsh language and tells us how China is feeling about this incident.

I am sick and tired of the peace monger attitude by the khaki generals. Sick and tired. Their pacifist approach has destroyed Pakistan. India and Afghanistan have a carte blanche to support terrorism in Pakistan. The lethargic approach by these generals has led to this day.

Brother, I also got warning but I did not take it in a negative manner. I do understand where are you coming from I really do ... it is very frustrating but we need to be very careful to NOT to play in the the hands of those who would like to create the division between us and Afwaaj e Pakistan. Believe me the viewership (covert) of this forum is huge and the perception "tanqeedi posts" unintentionally give support to the negative propaganda.

Who said that China must find an alternative route? I said if these attacks can't be stopped and there is a risk, I believe it can be stopped. I m the last person that wants to see CPEC fail.

And China will continue to go ahead with CPEC then they are dead wrong. why does India and Indians live so rent-free in your head? if you start any Afghan Taliban supporter Indian, you'll find out 30-50%+ of Pakistan population is Indian. maybe you simply don't have exposure to actual Pakistanis, living in England all these days. visit back someday and talk to the common folks on the road and you'll find out
