No one holds exclusive propriety rights on electronics.
India cannot afford US made electronics, so no point in doing probe for nothing.
Are u for real????????
This thread is about USA buying something from china that comes out to be fake.
Is that means USA can't afford made in USA stuff?????????

Ever heard of Intellectual Property ???
Hell's bells!!!The Air Force's C-17 was part of the counterfeit parts probe
In India we know it that's why we are not open to critical assets from USA and get it cleared by the dedicated team of experts in India and also takes help of experts from Israel/France/Russia to get rid of kill switch/codes etc.

What was fake?
The Sumerians invented the wheel in 3500 B.C. So should we be paying royalty to the Sumerians? Then how come the West and the world is not paying Royalty to China for wheel, matches, Paper, etc etc ?

As for the invention of matches, it wasn't the Chinese. They only invented small sticks of pinewood impregnated with sulfur and NOT matches which were invented in 1805 by K. Chancel, assistant to Professor Louis Jacques Thénard of Paris. The first "friction match" was invented by English chemist John Walker in 1826.
As for paper, the first paper known to history was made in around 3500 BC by the ancient Egyptians who used strips from the papyrus reeds which they dampened, made into a criss-cross pattern and pressed into sheets. Our very word paper comes from "papyrus". So then, do we need to give royalty to the Egyptians?
And do we have to give royalty to the supreme being who made the Earth? Jeeez!
Then how come the West and the world is not paying Royalty to China for Compass, matches, Wheel, Paper, gunpower etc etc ?
Are any of those products patented and protected thru any of the existing international laws ? And by your logic, every Muslim in the world should pay a royalty to SA every time they read Quran..
The News is probably FAKE itself.
