Germany was not more advanced than allies. It had only a fraction of the industrial capabilities as United States. On the contrary, Germany was following practices that were common to Europe at the time, only to an extreme extent. Discrimination against Jews, disabled and mentally ill were extremely common at the time. Even Canada was sterilizing native women and forcing them into residential schools.

Japan was able to invade China with its smaller population because it had industrialized and had better technologies. Back in 1930's, China was still very much an agarian society lacking heavy industry. China would have not been able to hold them at bay if not for assistance from US and USSR. Guns, tanks, planes and ships won the war, not singing and dancing. Japanese didn't suddenly decided to surrender out of love and peace. They did it because they were losing, and the nuclear bombs were dropped on them. Technology won the war.
