Chinese bricks failed vikramaditya

I'm wondering why China sold our high-tech brick for used on India AC's boiler, dont we care that this vikramaditya can be eventually a threat to us

The Chinese brick-maker probably did not know the bricks were going to be used for the boilers of an indian ac because it was the Russians that they were dealing with.

China is all about making only money nowadays. The money probably never reached China before redirect to the Swiss bank account.

It was private money not public. The Chinese brick maker should be a private enterprise.

The thread just shows the Chinese collectively behaving just as a bunch of kids rejoicing / shouting / laughing at the every stumble of their adversary. This behavior makes the kids feel secure and soothes their insecurities. You Chinese are no different.

On the topic: the bricks were supplied by the Chinese and the Russian were the ones to use it on a product intended for India. It is either the Chinese or the Russians should be laughed at. But this will cost India both time and money. We have no choice but to put up because the stuff happens.

We are a proud nation taking baby steps in advanced techs so failure is unavoidable.

We are not a hype-power that purchases a bloating casino for belly dancing and bikini dancing and converting it to national symbol, yuk what kind of a national pride is that I don't understand. For Indians like me this feeling is worse than eating a snake and other weird things but you people enjoy it, that the difference.

You are right, a retired Kiev class is way better than a unfinished Admiral Kuznetsov class, that is why India is paying so much and willing to wait another few years for a ship that was laid down in 1987.

Yea it was the Russians that used chinese materials on your ship, but why not just refit the ship by yourselves anyways? that way you could use your own bricks.

Just so you know we are not rejoicing / shouting/ laughing because your carrier got delayed again, but we are laughing because you actually belive the crap that russia feed you after you got screwed by them so many times on this ship already.

Not many buy that BS excuse. But yes they are using this as an excuse to vent their frustration.

I'm sure after this the Russians will understand and not complain as India moves more and more projects away from Russia and towards Israel and US.

We have better Idea we dont need to wait until war time for kill switch, now we know that India Ac used chinese brick, next replacement bricks will have a cut throat price , you better look for alternative replacement supplier or you will be at our mercy

Agreed but putting all eggs in one basket had cost a lot. We should learn from past mistakes. Of course we only have Russia for these advanced projects.

but you still need replacerement parts for the future...unless you find somewhere else that make compatible brick for your boilers otherwise you have to redo the test and get delay again
