Chinese cities are carbon copies of western infrastructure. Everything i was shown in modern china was of western origin.
All innovation has come from the west and some from Japan.

The short lead of western countries(Compared with China's leading for 5000 years, in fact, the time for western countries to take the lead is very short) is only due to the accumulation of colonial era, so USA still has advantages over China in traditional science and technology, but China is almost all ahead of the USA in emerging science and technology.
