What's new

Chinese Austalians flock to cheer for team China and make Chinese basketball team feel like playing at home

Are you blind, I said "SOMETIME" I cheered for the US. And That's a personal choice, like why I cheer for Brisbane Bronco on AFL when I was living in Sydney, so am my loyalty not lies in Sydney, the City I live in? Why I was cheering for Amir Khan, a British Boxer for Light Wetherweight Boxing, when I have Australian, Chinese Hong Kong and American passport?

Which team you cheer for does not mean where you loyalty lies, that is the whole point I made in that reply to @mike2000 is back
But you said you are an Australian American, China is not mentioned, why?

.
But you said you are an Australian American, China is not mentioned, why?
I am also a Swedish passport Holder, why I have not mention Sweden? How about I am actually a PR in Canada and New Zealand (Every Australian is a New Zealand Permanent Resident, and vice versa) why I am not bringing up Canada and New Zealand? I am also a British passport holder too, everyone from Hong Kong have one, why I am not bringing up the UK?

We are talking about BASKETBALL, and I AM A FAN OF US BASKETBALL. Got it?? I am also a fan of AUSTRALIAN RUGBY, BRITISH BOXING, SWEDISH HANDBALL, US SWIMMING, US ATHLETICS, AUSTRALIAN ROWING and JAPANESE KARATE. So what's your point?

.
I am an Australian American
Then what's your Chinese flag for?

You didn't bear their flags, why you need to mention them when you don't bear their flags? but why you believe you are an American but without its flag ? What are you indeed?

Are you for real?

@waz @LeGenD

Can you come here and stop this person, I didn't even mention I was a Chinese and still this guy come here and talk about my Nationality, I don't get it, do these people want me to say more that I am a Chinese? Or not want me to say more I am a Chinese? LOL.

.
Are you for real?
Yes, what are you, I guess at lease you yourself should know what you are, Australian American as you previously claimed? or something esle? is it really a hard question to answer?

I am not going to talk about this anymore, been there for 8 years, you know it and I know it, and you know you are most likely going to get ban for this, you can keep talking about my flag, does that mean anything would change?

I am just amused at the idea that you go after me when I claim I am a Chinese, and then you go after me when I claim I am someone else. So do you want me to go one way or the other? Or there are no peace at that?

But hey, at least I am not the person who is going to get banned over this. Well, or at least got a warning, If you want to talk about it, you talk about it, I don't mind, because you can't really change anything.

.
I am not going to talk about this anymore
Don't understand why it's such a difficult question for you, you just admitted you are an Australian American hours ago but now refuse to say it again, you are really one of a kind in PDF.

I said it on MANY OTHER OCCASION. I am an Australian American Chinese, and Swedish. Just because I quote 2 to put my point out does not mean one way or the other. Or do I have to say every residence i have and every country the passport I have IN EVERY CONVERSATION I have here on PDF?

That's gonna be a long *** sentence. Considering I have 5 passport (US, AUS, HKSAR-Chinese, UK and Sweden) and 3 Permanent Residence (Canada, Norway and New Zealand.) plus I am pretty sure I can work and live in China without a visa, which mean I do have at least Mainland Permanent Residence.

Dude, if you cannot accept someone is multi-cultural, that's your problem.

You are not limited to being just 1 person, you want to live life outside your own custom and tradition, you can do that with migration, which people has been doing it for the last 2000 years or so, and it is what that for.

I like being carefree and layback as an Aussie, that's why I move to Australia, and being smart as an American, that's why I lived in America, and being honest and hardworking like a Chinese, that's why I lived in China, and being efficient as a Swede, that's why I live in Malmo, if you have a problem with that, that's you, not me.

Again, as I said, I like US Basketball, Australian Rules Football, Chinese Gymnastic and Swedish Handball, Does that make me less of one nationality and more of the other? If you think so, that's your problem, not mine.

So what's your sequence, from high to low, first an Austrlian and second a Chinese? which place American comes in? third? fourth?

.
Barely 10 years ago China was still an extremely poor country, so it's understandable that people moved to richer and more developed places for their families wellbeing, even south east Asian countries have tens of millions Chinese if not more, way more than the Chinese diaspora in the western countries, it's due to hundreds of years of migration. Chinese ancestors moved to almost every single country on the planet, almost all major cities in the world have China towns.
And why is it that they moved to other countries during CCP reign? I thought you saying CCP is like GODLIKE party or something? So you agree that China was once very poor during CCP/Mao's chaotic economic policies right? And that if China had continued with its maoist policies it would have still been as poor today as before right?

They moved long before CCP took power in China, you should really learn something about Chinese history before talking about China.

Soong May-ling visited US in early 1940's, received warmly by local Chinese communities.

Soong May-ling, also known as Madame Chiang Kai-shek or Madame Chiang, was a Chinese political figure who was First Lady of the Republic of China,

It's the same question to who am I vote in the last US election or Australian Federal Election (I did not vote on HK and Swedish election)

I don't need to tell you, my preference. It's a free country, Again, if you cannot accept multiculturism, that's your problem, not mine.
