New Recruit
If your going to make a twin engine J-10 you might as well drop the J-11 altogether. A twin engine J-10 would have takeoff weight or at least a payload of the J-11.
Doesn't make much sense.
If you intend on turning the J-10 single engine into a carrier based AC you will need to increase the reliability of either the WS-10 or AL-41 engines. Also an increase in weight will also make it more difficult to take off so you'll need to increase the wing area and find a way to drop the nose to get a better field of view.
J-10B is already in service, but Pakistan might prefer a stealthy JF-17, something that Pakistan factories can make on their own with minimum Chinese input if necessary.Does the j-10b entered service?
A recent rumor (March 2011) suggested that an improved version with a stealth optimized forward fuselage (diamond-shaped nose cross section?) is being developed. A prototype may have been flying. A further improved version (JF-17A/JF-17 Block 2?) featuring an AESA radar, IRST and IFR probe and a two-seat trainer version (JF-17B?) are thought to has been proposed and likely be under development as well.
Twin engined J-10C project was unnecessary as soon as J-20 was approved by military brass.seriously people there is no twin engined j-10c
