China has published photos of its new attack helicopter ahead of its first public appearance in an air show.The chopper is due to be exhibited at the Zhuhai Air Show ( nov 13 ) in China's Guangdong province, state-run Global Times reported.

I heard that looping has no pratical and tactical use in combat field, and after 4 to 5 loopings one has to change completely the rotor because it is heavily damaged.

China started with Zero knowledge, Zero experience +100% embargo to a first real combat helicopter is not considered long, we took all these time to learn from others on how they used and defined the role of combat helicopter on battle field such as in Vietnam and other theaters as in Middle east and then define our own doctine of using helicopter in combat. The R&D is time consumming not only for the helicopter itself but weapons systems, fire control systems, armor plating, Materiaux, anti-tank missles....

LH96101: the 01 unite of the 6th aviation mission, the 6th mission belongs to Guangzou military region

LH95111: the 11 unite of the 5th aviation mission, the 5th mission belongs to Nanjing military region

WZ-10， plan started in 1992, first fly in 2003, 2004 had 6 unites fly test, in 2006.01 weapon fire test; entered service at the end of 2006; 2009 mass process ;
now at least, Nanjing military region has one WZ-10 and WZ19 aviation mission(the 5th mission): No.LH95101-LH951**)
Beijing Military Region has one Army Aviation Mission(WZ-10 and WZ19 :28 unites),
and Guangzhou Military Region has one WZ-10-WZ-19 Army Aviation Mission(28 unites), Nanjing milirary region also has WZ-10.

btw, the major obstacle Z-10 program faced was the engine```firstly they planned to use Canadian engines, but due to the pressure from the U.S, Canada walked out the deal, and so it took us so long to develop this heli

I think the engine problems are being resolved step by step. The system and components engineering of a new chopper is a immense undertaking when done without any foreign assistance. Indians are just jealous because after 30+ years they still can't assemble a LEGO Mig-21 (LCA) properly with all the foreign parts..
