I can leverage those knowledge to incite those patriotic Chinese or Pakistanis to fight against their government. I knew the so call 'democracy' theory to over throw their regime.

After I read a wiki article, discussing about Indonesian cuisine, it turn out that Minang is also influenced by Indian and Arab, particularly the use of curry on their food. Arab cuisine also influenced Aceh cuisine.

There are many theories about how Hindu come to Indonesia, but we dont know which one is the truth. Something that we can be sure is that the connection between India and South East Asia is strong. If you see South East Asian kingdom from Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, they all get influenced by Indian civilization. Only Vietnam who are influenced by Chinese in South East Asia. Even many Indonesian local languages are influenced by Sanskrit in the past. Thailand/Khmer/Burmese/Laos languages are also influenced by Sanskrit. It is different with East Asian nations plus Vietnam who adopted Chinese scrip. The most ancient monument talking about Hindu Kingdom in Indonesia (Tarumanagara) is made in fourth century.

That's good to hear. It means I can try out more dishes with different flavors. Indonesian clothing looks colorful and the pattern design is very nice. Pakistani traditional clothing is also very conservative and I'm glad we kept it rather than following the west. What made Indonesia more conservative after 2000.

I think it is due to several private own television channels who start broadcasting since 1993. The owners are the son and daughter of Soeharto. Those channels broadcast 24 hours and have regular Islamic program. Soeharto is also changing his policy on Islam after taking Hajj in 1990 and he was since then acting more friendly toward Islam. He started program to send Islamic preachers to transmigration areas. His right hand from 1990 until 1998 is Habibie who is an Islamist. His grab and control on media is also relaxed.

After reformation 1998 and Indonesia embrace democracy there are more TV stations emerging, some of them are owned by Muslim Indonesians and they also have their own Islamic programs. Slowly but sure government start to relax previous rule on Islamic practice on the society. The ban to wear hijab for civil servants, police, and military are lifted. Islamization is started in Indonesia in a step by step process. It is difficult to find hijab women during 90's but you can see them every where now, even in small cities.

It nice to speak to someone from the Minang community. I'm actually now going ask some of my Malaysian friends if they are Minang Pakistani woman are beautiful and there look is quite diverse, the only reason why the world doesn't see much is that we are conservative especially in KPK. They don't like people taking pictures of there woman. But they are super friendly as you can see from the video. I never knew there was an Asian beauty pageant. Ma'sha'allah those sisters looked beautiful. You don't need to be half-naked to show off your beauty.

Ya I think that Muslim beauty pageant can be big after 2020 since they will have participants from 18 countries. My major is A.E., Aerospace Engineering.

Always had a passion for flying, will be getting a learners permit soon too with the FAA (Federal Aviation Authority) to fly some of those WW1 type of planes.

I need to correct your word first. It's not "ally", ok? It is some of muslim rebels surrendered to Qing government. And Qing used them as a weapon to kill other muslim rebels. This is probably because the government was exhausted after so many wars. Or the government didn't want to genocide muslims.

Take a hard look at this image. You can clearly see Hui Loyalists on the side of the Qing.....the rebels surrendering and allying with the Qing came at a later point in time (if you can read that at all).
