Actually an airborne massive aircraft is not a bad idea. for this massive aircraft to hold many strike aircrafts in it is all the better.
And it is not Impossible. people used to say walking on the moon is Impossible and will probably lock you in a nuthouse for it. Nuclear powered rotter propellants with enough force to carry it upward and forward also jet engines powered by nuclear power could make it feasible.
Also obviously you can't have the aircrafts just setting there for many reasons the first one to come to mind is pilots will freeze to death (If it is a UACV then it is a different matter) it should have some chambered runways and workshops for maintenance.
Besides I bet this thing can carry more weapons than you can imagine so it will be one formidable airborne fortress. But I do not see it happening now mainly because no country in the world can carry as much funds to research and operate one. But is possible int he future? sure why not.
