Max Keiser talks to entrepreneur Dan Collins, who has recently returned to the US after 20 years living and working in China. They discuss the implications of China planting its flag on the Moon.

If you look at some of the scientific progress that is coming out of China, Collins says, it is clear that the United States will soon (if not already) end in the “catch-up phase” in terms of scientific and technical development.

“They are implementing artificial intelligence now across the entire society, which is way surpassing US,” he says, pointing out that China has “very ambitious missions to Mars, moon colonies, they are basically in ascendance when it comes to space.”

Collins adds that “The Chinese are so dominating in terms of all commodities,” including oil and ore, everything that is getting imported, “they will control space and they will have to go global and expand.”

LOL the only space these people could ever hope to "dominate" is that inside their craniums.

Chief operations of US Space Force also said similar thing that China is already a big player in Space. Chang'e 5 is met with full of praise from the global community even USA space experts were no exceptions. But but someone here said China is decades behind the US, now what is wrong with him? Is it jealousy?

China returned samples from the Moon which NASA accomplished 50 years ago. NASA has visited every planet in the Solar System, while China’s first is on the way to Mars. Yes China is literally decades behind in space exploration and discovery.

While I find the claim that China will dominate state highly hyperbolic, it is nonetheless interesting to note that said bragging is done by foreign media whereas bragging by one of China’s esteemed neighbors is largely domestic. In that sense, that country has achieved self sufficiency.

No, US used primitive manual return sample 50 years. There is no high tech autonomous lunar orbit docking. This tech is critical for future artemis mission where human replenishment driven resupply capsule are inefficient. It need to be autonomous.

This China space sample mission already help China verify a lot of critical future moon base tech. While American haven't even started. :enjoy:

China also has a FAST 500m telescope much superior to arecibo even it didn't collapse. China space agency can detect outer space pulsar which American can only dream of. American astrology and space scientist will all be banned from using this telescope.

Exactly, we don't usually brag.

Westerner can only think of dominate. They never believe in sharing.

News reports say 2021 is going to be worse.
no more life. Everyone should have paid but they chose to serve false Jews and false jew banksters. Too bad, so sad, now too late.
1001 Arabian knights, the world has no knights now only a*s a*s in sodomite thieves. too bad, so sad, now too late.

Precisely, the US has not demonstrated anything like the Chang'e 5 program, which is fully autonomous. Like the Chang'e 4 the lander decides where to land on this mission. The ascending module blasting off from the lander was also a great feat but the most awesome and challenging one is the rendezvous part. This is the first time in human history that an ascending module successfully connected with the orbiter all done without human intervention from Earth. The transfer of the canister between these modules, securing the goods, closing the hatch and disconnection was all done perfectly fully autonomously. All these were recorded and send back to Earth for the world to see. It was a feast to the eyes and the global community were watching and drooling for more footage. Exceptionally well done by the China Space team. Landing on the far side of the Moon was never done before and China did it, if we can manage to retrieve soil on that side back to Earth that would be another milestone. Chang'e 6 will be going to the South Pole for sample retrieval so not sure if getting samples from the far side is on the roadmap everything depends on the state of the module. I can confidently say that China is leading in the Lunar program even ahead of USA. The only thing missing is sending Taikonauts to this celestial object which is ofcourse on the road map. A moon base and the extraction of He-3 is the ultimate goal which is extremely challenging.
